This is Petal’s public preview website. The mobile app is still being prepared for release.

On this website

There is no account, email signup, or journal form here. The screen selector only changes the image you see. It does not save anything about your health.

We have not added advertising, analytics scripts, or cookies to this website. Images and styles are served from this site. Cloudflare hosts it and processes connection information, such as your IP address and request details, to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its practices.

In the Petal app

The current app stores your journal on your device. There is no account or cloud sync. The native app encrypts saved journal entries with a key stored separately in the device’s secure storage. This does not make an unlocked or compromised device risk-free.

You can export a copy of your journal or delete the entries in the app. An exported file contains personal information: keep it somewhere you trust. Copies you export, share, or back up are outside the app’s deletion controls.

The browser prototype uses browser storage without the native app’s encryption. It is a development preview, not the public mobile release.

All app screenshots on this website use fictional sample data. No visitor’s health data is shown. Cycle estimates are approximate and are not medical advice or contraception.
