You can delete your Petal account and its encrypted cloud backup at any time.

From the app

1. Open your profile using the girl icon.
2. Open Your account.
3. Choose Delete account & cloud backup.
4. Sign in again to confirm, then complete deletion.

This removes the active account and cloud backup. It does not delete the journal on your phone. To remove that too, use Delete data in your profile.

Without the app

Email yusufmohdsuhair@gmail.com with the subject “Petal account deletion”. Send from the email used for your Petal account if you can. If you used Apple’s Hide My Email, mention that so we can help verify the account.

We will verify account ownership before deletion and confirm when it is complete. Do not send a password, recovery code or health journal.

What remains

Files you exported or shared remain wherever you saved them. Device journals remain until you remove them. Google may retain service security records under its own policies and legal obligations. See our privacy policy for the full data handling details.

If you used Petal without an account, there is no cloud account to delete. Delete data in the app removes your local journal.
